Ginstr-Stuttgart Dry Gin is a declaration of love to Stuttgart the capital city of Baden Wuerttemberg in Germany. The founding of the gin started as a grazie idea , two good friends who met by chance years ago shared a common passion : Gin !

This passion become the dream of creating your own perfect gin for the two boys of Stuttgart. The result came to the market in December 2016 after more than two years of recipe and idea development Ginstr ! The founders : Markus Escher , Master distiller, herb guru and gin lover grew up on his family winery in Schwaikheim near Stuttgart. Alexander Franke , born in Stuttgart, presenter, spirit collector and gin lover was when he turned 15 already a radio presenter. He has a collection of 300 varieties of spirits.

The ingredients also come from Stuttgart and the region, citrus fruits, juniper berries and rosemary are from their own cultivation. In addition they are liquorice, kaffir lime leaves, orange flowers, hibiscus flowers and promenade seedsfor the perfect heart note. A total of 46 handpicked botanicals find their way into Ginstr-Stuttgart Dry Gin.

Never before has a German gin managed to win at the International Wine and Spirits Competition the Gin&Tonic Trophy in London UK. On November 18  2018 it was time for Ginstr to be voted worlds best gin for gin&tonic, the highest and most recognized award in the world in the gin  industry.
