From Italian and Spanish ancestors, Alejandro Roca has taken the helm of the winemaking and carriers on the family tradition of making honest, high-quality wines.
With 114 acres dating back 85 years , the Bodega River Vineyards are at 2300ft above sea level in the premier winegrowing region within the province of Mendoza.
San Raphael is the southern oasis of Mendoza, ahigh desert oasis with low rainfall, intense sun and mild nights.
All this contributes to the slow motoring of grapes and result in well balanced, complex fruit.
