SERESO

PRODUCER: Tenute d’Italia VOLUME: 750ml
COD: Italy VARIETAL: 100% Sangiovese
REGION: Emilia-Romagna AGING: Slavonian and French Oak Barrels
ALCOHOL: 15%

King of Romagnol viticulture, the Sangiovese vine finds in Sereso it maximum expression in terms of quality and aromatic complexity.

The productive path of this noble wine starts from the land, with a rigorous selection process by agronomists and oenologists to identify the most suitable vineyard parcels for the production of superior quality grapes. Only beginning with the processing of a perfect raw material is it possible to aspire to such a precious final result, able to enchant and impress itself in the memory of the taster.

Like any great wine, Sereso lends itself to equally important and structured combinations: succulent red meats – venison, mutton – but also rich first courses like lasagne or ribbon pasta with meat sauce.

DIATERNA

PRODUCER: Tenute d’Italia VOLUME: 750ml
COD: Italy VARIETAL: 100% Albana
REGION: Emilia-Romagna AGING: Sur Lies in Stainless Steel Tank
ALCOHOL: 14%

The Albana grape is without any doubt the Queen of the Romagnol winemaking heritage. A vine with extraordinary potential, the wines that come from it are distinguished by an unprecedented balance between freshness, warmth and body, as well as for the unmistakable aromatic profile that unites all versions in which the Albana finds expression in the bottle: from the passito – the most typical of all variants, first among the Italian white wines to obtain, in 1987, the Denomination of Controlled and Guaranteed Origin (D.O.C.G.) – to the sweet Albana and the sparkling rendition, up to the dry version – like Diaterna – in fact, the taster will appreciate the constant emergence of an unmistakable bouquet of apricot, golden apple and white flowers, sometimes completed with slight grassy hints.

SYRAH

PRODUCER: Tenute d’Italia VOLUME: 750ml
COD: Italy VARIETAL: 100% Syrah
REGION: Sicily AGING: Stainless Steel Tank
ALCOHOL: 14%

The Stella del Sud line proposes a Syrah which is perfectly consistent with this style, ideal synthesis of a deep connection with the earth and a gentle international inclination.

Upon visual examination this wine has an intense ruby red colour, thick – thanks to the high content of pigmentation – with enchanting purple hues which denote its exuberant youth. In the glass it is full-bodied, substantial, preluding a significant alcohol content.

The olfactory profile is very typical, faithful to the characteristics of the vine: upon opening the unmistakable spicy aroma of black pepper is striking, but also the fruity notes of plum, black cherry, blackcurrant and blueberry, wonderfully enveloped by tertiary notes – cocoa, liquorice and vanilla – deriving from its aging in wood. The structure of this Syrah finally reveals itself in all its vigour on the palate, with a noteworthy alcohol content that perfectly balances the marked astringency and the lively freshness.

LA CHIUSA

PRODUCER: Tenute d’Italia VOLUME: 750ml
COD: Italy VARIETAL: 100% Barbera
REGION: Emilia-Romagna AGING: Tonneaux
ALCOHOL: 14%

Visually La Chiusa presents an attractive intense ruby red colour, dense but luminous, with slight reflections of amaranthus and, when turned in the glass, reveals an excellent consistency. The olfactory profile is complex and inviting, with a broad variety of secondary and tertiary suggestions: on opening it is intensely fruity, with notes of the small red and black fruits (blackberries, blueberries, currant) which then give way to disclose more complex suggestions – vanilla, liquorice, black pepper.

On tasting, La Chiusa reveals good tannins and freshness, typical characteristics of the grape which find perfect balance here with a significant alcohol content and an underlying softness obtained by the excellent technique of ageing in barrels: the choice of the large cask, and the perfect calculation of the timing for its use, in fact allows the tertiary sensations to emerge to complete and refine the tasting experience without ever obscuring the aromatic characteristics of the grapes.

ILIONE

PRODUCER: Tenute d’Italia VOLUME: 750ml
COD: Italy VARIETAL: 100% Sangiovese
REGION: Emilia-Romagna AGING: Stainless Steel Tank
ALCOHOL: 14%

Ilione is first of all a Sangiovese, produced in purity with selected grapes to bring back into the glass all the typicality of this noble grape variety; its special organoleptic characteristics, in addition to the recognition of the Denomination of Controlled Origin, have also allowed it to boast the designation Superiore.

But not only that: the production chain from which Ilione is born, from the vineyards to the cellar, is certified organic, and as such respectful of precise management and control protocols.

Maximum care of the raw material, strict observance of the defense and production regulations, constant supervision by the control institutes: the Romagna D.O.C. Sangiovese Superiore Ilione therefore completes its appellation with the important indication of certified organic wine.

The peculiarities of Ilione, however, do not end here: the winemakers responsible for the project have in fact wanted to take a further step towards quality, with special attention to the health of consumers. In the course of the entire winemaking process, thanks to constant monitoring, it was possible to completely zero the use of sulphur dioxide, minimizing the sulphite content to the maximum extent possible in the final product.
