The Domaine de Mourchon is nestled in the heart of the Dentelles de Montmirail , in the heart of a triangle in Seguret one of the beautiful villages formed by Mont Ventoux in the east, Vaison – La-Romain to the north and Avignon to the south-east in the wine region of Cotes du Rhone in France.
It was established by the Mc Kinlay family in 1998. The vineyard hat twenty hectares of old vines , but had no facilities for making wine. So a vault was built, equipped with new technologies and built according to the most vigorous criteria which was completed in 2000.
Grape varieties cultivated are: Viognier, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne , Marsanne, Clairette, Bourboulenc, Greanche, Syrah, Carignan and Mourvedre.

This wine is very deep purple in colour – almost ink like – with a nose suggesting black currents, plums and liquorice on a spicy background. The palate is elegant and long with pronounced fruit intensity and powerful tannins.
