Klaus Reif

Born into a winemaking family of twelve generations, Klaus W. Reif may have had his future preordained. Tucked amidst the vineyards in Neustadt, Germany, stands Klaus’ family home, where his childhood was spent learning the trade of winemaking. In 1978, Klaus traveled to Canada and fell in love with the scenic beauty of Niagara and was captivated by the potential of these fertile lands and laid plans to return upon his graduation from the Geisenheim Institute. In 1987, two weeks after graduating with degrees in Viticulture and Oenology, Klaus fulfilled his dream and took over the reins of Reif Estate Winery from his Uncle Ewald. Klaus focused on creating small batches of exceptional wine; adopting the philosophy that “great wines start in the vineyard”, a fundamental element to his continued success. This philosophy now drives the wine selections for those represented in his new wine agency.

Bruno Reis

Bruno Reis

Director of Sales

After a successful career in Germany in the Retail and Business industry, Bruno moved to Canada in 1995 and worked as a Vice president for 21 years in a Niagara On the Lake Winery.

These years offered him a new challenge and in 2017 moved to Reif Estate Winery as the Director of Sales and Export.

Bruno brings a lot of experience with international Brands as a buyer and retailer, both with his positions in Germany and Canada.

As a managing partner, one of his focuses with the agency will be overlooking and selecting the products.

Bruno is happily married and has 3 Boys. And was recently blessed with his first grandchild.

Hobbies are Music, Movies, Outdoor and spending some time with his wife Grace and their beloved Belgian Malinois Dog Dakota.

Brenda Hookings

Director of Business Development

Brenda brings 34 years of experience in Retail and Business in the world of adult beverage alcohol. Her career was managing a unionized environment and successfully bringing each job to a higher and higher profit level. The success in this retail environment included significant exposure to store operations, teamwork and leadership acquired through years of retail management experience. Brenda developed excellent human resource skills and in-depth knowledge of the industry, marketing, merchandising.

Upon retirement, Brenda began to pursue opening an agency to bring her expertise in this field to the market. Brenda is a managing partner in the agency and will be focused on navigating all the rules and policies of the agency.

Brenda is happily married and has 4 children and 3 grandchildren.

She enjoys kayaking, golf and laughing.
