Blackburn Brew House

Blackburn began as a vision for something new, something authentic, and something local. The dream is to create a place, an atmosphere, where the community can come together and be local again.

Blackburn Brewhouse is located in a brand new building with over 38,000 sqft of floor space. It houses a custom-built 35HL brewhouse by our friends across the highway at Criveller. We also have our own canning, bottling, and kegging lines to complete our brewery.

WHITE WATERS IPA

As bold as Niagara’s rapids, and made with the same water. Citrus and floral hops rush to the nose while a fresh, clean body follows and delivers a beer perfect for all of your own small victories. As unforgettable as the rapids and even more exciting.

POWERHOUSE PILSNER

Are you a powerhouse? You work hard, push, grind, drive and get it done. We like to think we do too. That’s why when our brew master suggested a pilsner, we knew we’d have to grit our teeth and get it done – no matter how long it took. With over six weeks of tank time, smooth grassy hints and a touch of flowery aroma, our effort definitely paid off.

5.0% ABV 28 IBU

BACK ALLEY BLACK LAGER

Our back alley dealings look a little bit different than most. To us, “the goods” are hops, malt, and yeast. So when we get the goods, you end up getting a great local craft beer. This black lager, for example, took three shady deals to produce but ends up being a drinkable, deliciously chocolatey, and toasty beer.

OLD SCOW LAGER

Blackburn has brewed Old Scow to be a staple in the Niagara region, just like its namesake. Guaranteed to refresh and excite, this full flavoured and easy drinking lager aims to stick around and stand the test of time.

LOCAL LIGHT LAGER

HEARTLAND HAZE PALE ALE

A simple nod to an inspiring neighbour, this expressive pale ale aims to enrich both the community around us and your palate.

4.5% ABV 35 IBU

SCREAMING TUNNELS AMBER LAGER

Frightening amounts of flavour, beautiful burnt orange colouring, a strong malty body, and a balanced noble hop backbone make this amber irresistible. Served best with a chill on your glass and in your spine.
