Only the best barrels of the vintage were selected for this large and very dense wine. The result is a full-bodied Spätburgunder that, with its intense color and full style, is more reminiscent of counterparts from France than to a German Spätburgunder.

Powerful is the aroma, backed by soft wood notes and is intensively complemented by a bouquet of red berry fruits (raspberry). Fine spicy notes on the palate emphasize the fineness of this wine.

On the finish, there are delicate nuances of the typical Pinot Noir bitter almond aroma.
