Domaine de la Mordoree is a family business created in 1986 by Fabrice Delorme and his son Christophe. It brings together a vineyard of 58 hectares and it’s located in Tavel in the southwest of the Rhone Valley. The farm is devided in 38 plots spread over 8 municipalities. In 30 years , Christophe Delorme has raised the Domaine to the level of the greatest. Through “love of the land”, this perfectionist, passionate and visionary winemaker has chosen to respect the terroir. The Domaine de la Mordoree is fully organic , with a biodynamic approach in the land and in the cellar. The harvest is manual on the whole farm. Sadly Christophe Delorme passed away far too early in June 2015. His father Fabrice Delorme remained in charge of the Domaine until 2017, when he decided to leave to pursue other interests. Madeleine and her daughter Ambre continue the work initialed by Christophe with the team he trained. They have chosen to preserve the company to which he has devoted himself body and soul , while respecting the main objective to produce the best possible wines. Ideally located at the crossroads of Provence and Languedoc , the Domaine de la Mordoree produces some of the greatest wines of the Rhone Valley. Tavel ( where the cellar is located ), Chateauneuf du Pape, Lirac, Cotes –du-Rhone , vin de France and Condrieu.
