Three friends turned this magnificent 18th century villa with a vineyard and olive grove into a working winery with a goal of crafting great wines.
Three farms, an 18th century villa, charming farmhouses and a winery on beautiful hill with richly carved avenues of cypress and pine – that is what brought Vanni Milan, Carlo Cattaneo and Marco together to create “great” wines that are elegant and respectful of local vineyards but treated with modern technology extolling the great, natural vocation of the territory.
Between the classic Chianti and the Valdarno, 130 hectares of vineyards, olive groves and woods.
A farm that regain their ancient prestige thanks to the long work of our family, that has strongly wanted to recreate a welcoming but from environment.
Still tied to the peasant tradition of this slice of Tuscany.

Poggio ai Grilli is our Chianti obtained from 100% hand-picked Sangiovese. It is characterized by a perfumed nose and its good drinkability. With a limited alcohol content, it is also suitable to be eaten fresh.

Orma Del Diavolo draws its strength from the toponym of the vine from which it comes, an ancient rock on which a shape is imprinted that in the past the settlers thanks to ancient superstitions had identified as the footprint of a devil. A Bordeaux blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, is one of our wines that boasts the largest number of harvests thanks to the vines planted over forty years ago.

Caprilius is the ancient name of Cavriglia, an ancient village of Roman origins once populated by shepherds and goats. To this place we have dedicated the name of this wine produced from 100% Montepulciano, a vine that in the Upper Valdarno has found a territory that thanks to its peculiarities allows to obtain a unique wine of its kind.

The bunches of Sangiovese are harvested the first week of September to allow the maintenance of a low alcohol content and favor a marked acidity. After destemming the grapes are gently pressed and placed in steel tanks to start fermentation.
Pale pink in color, it hits the nose with delicate aromas of red fruits. In the mouth it is harmonious and balanced oriented towards freshness and flavor.

Our chosen Chardonnay grapes come from the cultivation of old vines over forty years old.
After harvesting, the grapes are kept in a cold store to avoid contact with the skins during crushing and preserve their freshness. At the end of fermentation the wine remains macerated on the lees for about 6 months before being filtered and bottled.

Made by our best Sangiovese vineyard from the toponym “Il Mulinaccio”. The low yield per hectare and the agronomic practices performed allow to get widely-spaced bunches , obtaining an optimal technological and phenological maturity for a grape of a superior quality.

Bouquet: good olfactory intensity, with ripe red fruit, raspberry. Tertiary aromas, tobacco and sliglty balsamic closing
Taste: soft and fresh tannins. Balanced. warm and savory note in closing
