Harry Zech
The Harry Zech Vineyard is the first and only Demeter winery in Liechtenstein. Winegrower Harry Zech purchased the 3 ha vineyard with the winery in 1997 and in 1998 he made his first wine. He switched to biodynamic viticulture in 2014, and all his wines from 2017 on are Demeter-certified. It is located in Vaduz ( Stoeckler, Abtswingert, Oberdorf and Mare’), in Mauran ( Haberwald ) and from now on in Bendern ( Kirchhuegel ). His range consists 6 different organic white wines, 1 organic rose wine, 3 different organic reds and 1 organic sparkling wine. Also 3 different Marcs complete his assortment. The wines are produced in harmony with nature. Ecological , sustainable and without pesticides. Harry Zech controls and accompanies them, but adds nothing to the wines. They are natural fresh , terroir – influenced and digestible wines.

Long left on the fine lees. On the nose, vanilla, pineapple and pear aroma, full and creamy body, long-lasting, fruity finish.

Approx. Fermented spontaneously in wooden fermentation tanks for 2-3 weeks, manual pounding of the mash, partially fermented whole grapes.
Then aged 30-36 months in the new Burgundian pièce, depending on the vintage.
Dark red, light and dark berries, light citrus notes (oranges), enormous spiciness, cinnamon, light roasted aromas.
Very fresh wine with a long finish.
Bottled without fining and filtration.

Depending on the vintage and acidity, the yeast is stirred up.
Fruity nose of citrus, pineapple, apple and pear. But also subtle vanilla notes. Fruity,
spicy and fresh palate with lively acidity. Very profound, mineral Chardonnay.
