Born and raised in Los Angeles, it was really no wonder that she was inspired by the movie industry growing up. Needless to say, her parents were quite surprised when their 13-year-old daughter returned from a screening of “French Kiss” declaring that she’d found her calling….in wine.

In a single-minded pursuit of her newfound passion, Anna convinced her parents to take her to the Santa Barbara Wine Country. She was hooked. After first trying her hand at making fruit win in her parents’ kitchen as a teen, she went on to earn her degree in Viticulture and Enology from the prestigious University of California, Davis, in 2002 at the age of 21.

Anna spend the first 10 years of her career in various wineries of Napa Valley and Sonoma Country, including a stint as Assistant Winemaker at Atlas Peak in Napa Valley – where she honed her love of high-elevation Cabernet Sauvignon. She discovered her true passion – for Pinot Noir – as Assistant Winemaker for Buena Vista Carneros. Having worked with fruit from the famed Russian River and Carneros regions, she has now returned to where it all started. Santa Barbara county- to craft Pinot Noir and Chardonnay of superior Quality.
